Storm is a running club based in Plymouth. We cater for all running abilities, from the complete novice to the experienced marathon runner. We are proud of the support we offer to our runners, utilising a 'loop-back' system to ensure no runner is ever left behind. We run, on average, three times a week from different locations in and around Plymouth, both in the day and in the evening. In the evenings there are generally 6 groups offering different speeds/mileage. Storm also organises circuit classes to compliment running, by helping to strengthen and tone the core and upper body. We also know how to have a good time! There is almost always a post-run trip to the pub and organised socials where we encourage partners and friends to attend. Apparently I'm a runner!
I joined Storm in August 2015 hoping that a running club could help me to run 5k without stopping and help me feel more confident. I've now completed three 10k races and am training for my first half marathon. Storm has given me the confidence to say 'I'm a runner!'. I hope to help others feel the same!
