Good Morning All, we have now received confirmation of a 15% discount for our away day to Bridgewater for September.

To confirm, the date is Sunday 6th September 2026.

There were plenty interested in this when I first posted in January and it’s now also been included in the captains series. It was important to us to try to pick an event which not many of the club had done before. We are aware it clashes with a couple of other races on the calendar but still hope to take a full coach load up for a special day out.

With the three distances available, all on pretty flat terrain, there really is something for everyone.

IMPORTANT - We will be using a slightly different method of entry as requested by the event organisers where we will be collecting all payments and info in and sending it in bulk.

Costs, with discount, for your entries are as follows……

5k - £11.50
10k - £22.50
Half Marathon - £25.50

Coach for 53 people is priced at £15 per head which will include a bottle of water, banana and breakfast snack. Coach will leave in a reasonable time from Central Park. Events start at 11am so plenty of time.

You do not have to pay up straight away BUT, I need confirmation with your details asap that you are coming along. I will then need complete payments by latest deadline of May 31st 2026. This goes for coach payment too.
