Last night we had our August Runner of the Month presentation after the Club Run at Woodland Fort

💜 Congratulations to our winner Lauren Knox for her amazing results at local events

💜 Our Special Recognition bottle of prosecco was won by Carly Linney. Congratulations Carly

💜 Vice Chairman Keith opened the evening by welcoming everyone including our special guest Rich Ayling from England Athletics who was observing how amazing our Club is run and how amazing and supportive we all are to each other. He also read a short message from Dave, our Chairman who was unable to attend

💜 Next up was our Club Captain’s Julie and Mick who gave a brief run down of upcoming events for September. More details can be found on the app under Events/Race Calendar.

They also presented Kev Fitchett with the Captains Recognition box of beer for his progression through the groups at Club Runs

💜 Jane, our treasurer gave an update on membership

💜 While Bee is away supporting Mark in Australia at the Sydney Marathon, Keith gave an update on our Community support which included a massive thank you to all the volunteers who helped out at Central Park ParkRun.

Bee is currently waiting to hear from some local charities on how we can help, so keep an eye out for more details

💜 Next up, we had our Storm the Fort race director Mike and team, giving us an update and displaying the medal.

💜 Our final presenters were Dave Kilgore and Ryan York who presented the Runner of the Month and Special Recognition Awards respectively, thank you
