For Thursday evenings club run – we have had our hands forced a little into switching the club night due to the Travellers being back at Devonport park and all the health and safety concerns that comes with.

The obvious choice for us is to move to The Hoe. This will enable people to not only come to our club run, but also be at the promotional event that Jane Southern has been encouraging people to come along too. The event is called The Run Of Hope and they have specifically requested Storm to be involved in the promotional video which they are filming in the evening. If you are going to this, you’ll need to be there for 17:30. This should also give you plenty of time to get to the club run. Wear as much purple as you have to help put Storm on the worldwide map! 🌍💜

Hopefully this will now mean we will have a better attendance at both events.

The Hoe run will begin at the start of the slope up to the promenade, in the position we always position ourselves on half marathon day!!

We are aware there is a parking charge for the hoe so we will make it a completely free club night to subsidise this a little. Parking on the hoe is limited but there is plenty around the are so expect to have to walk a little to the venue.

We are sure a few of you will love to see The Hoe back on the club schedules, as it’s been a while since we ran from there.
