Good Morning team! Happy Xmas Eve!! Won’t keep you long with this one, just a quick Christmas message 🎄🎅🏼

What a year it has been yet again. So many highlights which I could be here all day listing away, but I will just mention a few of my own favourite moments. I’m sure you all have your own highlights from this year. I would love to hear what they were in the comments! 🤔

Last year’s awards night was the first highlight for me, seeing everyone come together as we do on that evening is special and there is always so much love around the Storm family 🙌🏻💜🏆🫶🏻

Secondly, I really enjoyed the weekend away with a great bunch of Stormies up in Milton Keynes. The races were excellent, the trip to Bletchley Park was fascinating, Storm painted MK purple and the restaurant the night before was a great laugh which again brought everyone together for a nice pre race social! 🍝🍻🙌🏻

Next up, seeing so many of you Stormies get involved in our hometown race series on Plymouth Hoe was special. I love that there are three distances available meaning literally everyone at our club is capable of getting involved. THAT final corner still leaves me breathless when I get there with our cheer squad giving it their all 💜👏🏻🙌🏻🏃🏻‍♂️🏃‍♀️⚡️

Finally, My no.1 highlight of the year, was seeing all the new members our club attracted. People hear about Storm through friends or connections but never quite know what we are about, until they join us at a club run. We had so many new faces this year who have since become part of the family. As I’ve said before this is real testament to all our members who make the club what it is, so the new starters want to stick around! Keep it up team – you’re all special!! 💜⚡️🏃🏻‍♂️🏃‍♀️👏🏻

We have so much to look forward to in 2025 at Storm. In the new year, we have our trip up to Exeter for the 10k which is shortly followed up by the annual awards night 🙌🏻 🏆
We then turn our attention to celebrating Storm’s 10th birthday!! Who would have thought we would still be going so strong all these years on?! 🤷🏻‍♂️

Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year to all of you. Enjoy time with family & friends and having a well deserved a break.
